Week 133 – Rockin’ Lads (Cicero Palace, 1966?)

Here is another great reel to reel live recording from an unknown Chicago area garage band called the Rockin’ Lads. This was recorded in late 65′ or 66′ I am guessing based on song choices. This recording contains two sets of modest covers of the current hits of the day performed in front of a lively audience. I tried to do some research on the group and the venue but unfortunately could not find anything online. Please reach out if you know anything about this group. Check out the first 30 minute set here!
