Week 118 – Guest Find – Letter

Here is a wonderful guest find from Alan in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is what he had to say about it:

“I have a great tape you should hear that I found at a garage sale a few years ago. It’s an audio letter from two Scottish brothers Frank and Don and their families, on holiday in Poland, sending messages to their mother. The kids get cajoled into saying hi to their grandma too.

The tape is totally unmarked, but there are several clues to the date and time of the recording – From the mention of the upcoming 35th anniversary of the modern Polish Republic, the recording would seem to date from 17th July 1987- between about 10pm and 10:40, no less!”

This tape was recorded in stereo with each brother coming through a speaker. Great stuff. Thanks for the submission Alan!
